In India, Gudi Padwa is a spring festival that marks the New Year for Marathi and Konkani. In Maharashtra the festival is observed with colorful rangoli, a special Gudi flag (garlanded with flowers, mango, and neem leaves, topped with upturned silver or copper vessel), also make many other festive dishes, such as shrikhand and Poori or Puran Poli on this day.
The Marathi celebrities celebrate the festival of Gudi Padwa with full enthusiasm amidst lockdown.
